Virgin Media has announced pricing for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c smartphones ahead of their launch on the network tomorrow.

Beginning Friday the 22nd of November in Virgin retail stores, online and over the phone, the iPhone 5s will be available starting at £69 for the 16GB model on a two year contract.

The iPhone 5c will be available starting at £29 for the 16GB model and £69 for the 32GB model, both with a 24 month contract. In addition, the iPhone 4s will be available starting with a zero up-front payment and a monthly cost of £23. All prices are for a two-year contract.

These prices are only available to existing Virgin media account holders. According to the website, "Virgin Media will be offering cable customers extra value like £5 off their monthly mobile bill and free calls to other Virgin Mobiles".

Virgin Media said it "will allow iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c customers to connect to its fast 3G network", though clearly they will not be able to connect at LTE speeds as the cable company, which has a virtual network deal with EE, has not yet launched a 4G service in the UK.

Dana Strong, Virgin Media's chief operating officer stressed that, in addition to the discounted prices, the company was offering extras for existing customers like free insurance to compete with faster networks like EE, Vodafone and O2.
